Quick Thoughts in the New Year

So, I've decided since reading 154 books last year that it is unrealistic that I am gonna review each and every one in massive detail, so I am going to try this. Each week, I am going to review WHAT I've read during the previous week. Now, an author who just wows me beyond words -looking at you Kristen Ashley - we might do a spotlight or such.... But, I'm committing this year to get back to the blog. ;)

Meet Kristyn

To be continued when the lovely Kristyn gets here!

Kristyn is currently trying to beat Final Fantasy ( I think that is the game, LOL) and trying to finish reading several books. Since threatening to hide her game, her Kindle and Ipad didn't work, I am going to introduce her for ya! And probably throw some fibs in here too. I told her she needed to do her About Me blurb and so she has left me no other choice.

Kristyn is a mother of 4 beautiful kids: 3 girls and her baby boy. She married her High School sweetheart as well. She has been blonde, pink, purple and dark haired. I think she loves turtles or frogs... or is it both? I know that when our 2 families get together it is LOUD, with 7 kids between us ages 13-2, people look at us crazy. She looks 16 and it is awesome when we go out and they card us. (Both turn 30 in 2014)

I have never known Kristyn is not be talking about a book. It is actually how we met. She was working on homework in the cafe at Borders and the rest is history. She is who got me to read series. I love and hate her for it. If I had to say what her favorite books are, I would say: Fever series by KMM, Harry Potter series, Julie Garwood ANYTHING and anything paranormal. One day, she will come on here and do her own blurb, but for now... that is Kristyn. And she is my book partner in crime!

Meet Catherine

Hola! My name is Catherine, but I often forget that since nowadays I answer mostly to Mama. I work full time in the wonderful world of retail management, as well as full time as a wife to my high school sweetheart and a mother to my 3 minions. I met my partner in crime, Kristyn, at Borders. Ever since then we have bonded over our passionate, sometimes obsessive love of reading. I can't ever remember a time in my life where I didn't love the smell of a good book! I read ANYTHING. I love romance, paranormal, YA, history, erotica, (yes Mom, I read it and LOVE it!) mystery and so much more. Growing up I stuck to biographies, and now that I am an adult - I am living in supernatural worlds. Other than reading, I enjoy painting, taking an obscene about of pictures, being a Cub Scout Mom, watching movies with my Mister and stalking my favorite authors. :) It's a pleasure to share my obsession with you!
